Taking it in stride

When deciding on flower girls and page boys, pay attention to the following :

• Age. Having kids who are too young to be flower girls and page boys is not a good idea as tantrum-throwing kids are the last thing you would want to deal with at your wedding.
  
• Outfits. Their outfits can be purchased at specialty children stores that offer a selection to choose from.
  
• Rest. Ensure that young children have enough rest prior to the ceremony, which will hopefully mean they will be on their best behaviour.
  
• Rehearsal. In order for kids to be familiar with their roles, do include them in any rehearsals prior to the wedding.
