Wedding banquets are a big deal for Chinese weddings. Although a number of couples are now opting for smaller, more intimate celebrations, the majority are still hosting large guest lists. The aspiration is to celebrate with good food, in a stylish setting.

When considering a particular venue, discuss the following :

• The various menu options and respective pricing levels.
• What the packages include and what additional costs may be incurred.
• What are their signature dishes?
• Is there a corkage charge should you decide to bring your own alcoholic beverages?
• What’s included in terms of décor?
• Is there ample parking and what are the charges like?
