The flower girl and page boy walking down the aisle
preceding the bride, frequently draw whispers of 'how
sweet' or 'how cute' among the congregation. The former,
a mini-version of a bridesmaid and the latter who undertake
the role of ring-bearer, are an important part of the
bridal entourage.
Often a niece and nephew or perhaps offspring of
close friends, they bring with them a sense of childhood
innocence to the wedding.
