The Stage Is Set

Nov 01, 2018

Flowers really do make a statement at a wedding. They conjure a sense of romance. They set the stage at the ceremony. They dress up the banquet venue. They are an integral part of a wedding.

When brainstorming with your florist or decorator, discuss the following :

  • How much of your wedding budget you have allocated for flowers.
  • The option of local blooms versus imported ones.
  • Where to spend more funds – the ceremony or the banquet.
  • Colour themes.
  • Your choice of flowers.
  • Whether your preferred choice of flowers can withstand the heat and humidity.
  • How to be more cost effective by incorporating other décor items into the floral designs.
  • Backup plan should certain flowers not be available come your wedding day.
