Brides-to-be have the option of either getting a wedding gown off-the-rack or custom-made. Whichever route the bride decides on, it is important that the fit is good.

When deciding on which gown to choose, consider the following :

  • Body shape vis-à-vis cut.
  • Fabrics.
  • Colour.
  • Length of veil.
  • Length of train.
  • Lead time.
  • Budget.

A few tips :

  • Arrange for fittings in advance.
  • Bring appropriate undergarments and shoes for fittings.
  • Think of accessories to complement the gown.
