A Cluster Of Professionals : Desa Sri Hartamas, Mont
Kiara, Bangsar & Damansara Heights
Siva and Sakthi were married on 16 May 2004 at the Kalamandapan Temple in Brickfields, KL. They share with us their experience of obtaining the services of a wedding planner.

For many couples, the thought of having to drive all over town in order to 'check-out' and meet with potential wedding industry service providers who will play a part in their 'big day', is often daunting. In a first of what will hopefully be a series of articles highlighting industry professionals located within neighbourhoods of close proximity, we hope to be able to provide you with some assistance as you plan your 'trek' from one service provider to another. For starters, we offer you a glimpse of those in Desa Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara, Bangsar and Damansara Heights, all of whom, are within a 10-minute drive (good traffic permitting!) of each other.

We begin the 'trek' in Desa Sri Hartamas (as this idea was mooted by Dennis Thean of 'PrettyInWhite'). Many of you would know that finding a car park in Desa Sri Hartamas can be quite a challenge in itself. However, rest assured that once that is accomplished, the effort will be worthwhile as you can easily walk to 'PrettyInWhite' and 'That Special Occasion' for gowns, 'Camwork Weddings', 'Click-Click Photographers' and 'Exes Studio' who will capture those lasting impressions, 'As You Like It' for your floral requirements and 'Graphic's Arm' as well as 'Papier' for creatively-designed invites. And while you're at it, you could also stop by 'Curlers & Trimmers' to have a chat with Eric who does great hair and makeup.

Just across the road in nearby Mont Kiara is 'Nupts & Such', a godsend for those intending to engage the services of a wedding planner.

Bangsar, in particular the Maarof and Telawi areas, is also home to a number of wedding specialists. 'Garden Fairies' can make any of your floral fantasies come true, while the 'House of Intimacy' offers a wide range of intimate apparel to complement your gowns. A stopover at the 'Carat Club' and 'DeGem' for wedding bands can be followed by a visit to cake designers 'Just Heavenly'. 'The WeddingCard Shop - Chan Brothers Printing' is also sufficiently nearby in Brickfields, to warrant a visit to have a look at their impressive range of intivations.

Finally, do make a stopover at 'Armadale Bespoke' in Damansara Heights. Located in a bungalow, they offer photography as well as wedding planning services.
