Amy
and Matthew were married on 18 June 2005 at Shutters
On The Beach, Santa Monica, USA. And believe it
or not, their wedding was actually planned by
Malaysian-based wedding planners, Events Wizard.
Whilst Events Wizard has had much experience planning
weddings for couples living abroad but who were
having their ceremony in Malaysia, this was a
first for them - planning a wedding which was
to be held abroad from Malaysian shores.
When
deciding to deal with a wedding planner 'across
the miles', do take note of some of the following
issues :
Interview him or her via email and through
the phone to judge whether you both have the
same ideas and inclinations.
You need to be comfortable with and know
whether you can trust the planner to plan
the wedding you envisioned.
Ask the planner to provide information
or details of the proposed products e.g. paper,
fabric, flowers etc. so that you can check
them out at your local suppliers to get some
idea of the actual products.
Get photographs of everything.
Look through wedding websites to get inspiration
and let your planner know what you fancy.
Check and reply your emails frequently as
the planner will report to you on happenings
and sometimes, quick decisions will be required.

for a week, as well as a service fee.
