When selecting a caterer, consider the following :

• Track record - how long have they been in business? Do they have photos of previous weddings they've done?
  
  
• Recommendation - have they been recommended by friends and family?
  
  
• Menus - options and size of menus. Are menus fixed or customisable? Are they imaginative with menus?
  
  
• Numbers - do they have a minimum number requirement?
  
  
• USP - what is their speciality?
  
  
• Services - are they a full service caterer i.e. do they also provide linen, tableware, tables and chairs, canopies, etc.?
  
  
• Price - what is their pricing level?
  
  
• 'Halal' - do they have 'halal' certification?
  
  
• Trial - can there be a food tasting?
