Most
banquet packages offered by hotels include decorating
the ballroom. The décor will normally include
a backdrop for the stage, table flowers, a floral
arrangement at the entrance to the ballroom and
perhaps even drapes from the ceiling.

Many
couples nowadays however, regard ballroom décor
as a significant contributor to the ambience of
the wedding banquet. As such, some have taken
to hiring an external event decorator to enhance
the setting of the ballroom. Experienced decorators
would be able to complement what the hotel already
provides in order to minimise additional costs.
Nevertheless, there are also couples who prefer
that the entire ballroom décor be designed
exclusively by their preferred decorator.
