Table settings when well conceptualised, contribute to the overall ambience and setting of a wedding banquet. Being the focal point for guests during the celebration, much effort should be put in to ensure that table decorations leave a lasting impression.

However, many couples are also opting to showcase their stylistic-leanings by working hand-in-hand with specialist wedding vendors to create a more individualistic look for the tables. Those with lesser budgets meanwhile, are securing favours from artistically-inclined friends and family members to lend a helping hand.

Some pointers :

Decide on the impact you wish to achieve - over-the-top, simple and elegant, or perhaps quirky?
DIY some items if time permits, in order to save some cost.
Negotiate with the venue for extras at no additional charge, particularly if you are spending a lot on food and beverage.
See if your florist is willing to help stretch your budget by offering complimentary decorative arrangements, again if you are spending a lot on flowers.
