Celebration Of Love In Samui

Apr 01, 2020

A direct flight from Kuala Lumpur via Bangkok Airways and with connections from many other regional cities, Samui is indeed an island paradise very much suited to destination weddings and pre-wedding shoots. Seascapes aplenty with numerous resorts offering varying price points, the options are abundant when deciding on where to host your island wedding.

As you start on your wedding plans, a good idea would be to hire a wedding planner who has had experience in planning celebrations in Samui. Familiarity with the island as well as the locals is always a boon when planning a wedding from afar. Other than being your liaison with the resort’s in-house event planner, they would also be able to advise you on the pros and cons of either flying vendors from your home city or hiring local vendors at the destination.

Some advice :

  • Look out for promotional airfares from Bangkok Airways as well as special promotions from resorts.
  • Be sure to host your wedding during a time of year when weather is good in Samui.
  • How about an island-hopping pre-wedding shoot too?
