Inspiring The Artistic Eye
Pre-wedding photography has always been the ‘love’ of many a wedding photographer. In a more controlled environment when compared to the happy-chaos of the actual wedding day, they are able to put their artistic vision to good use, creating imagery that soon-to-be-wed couples will cherish.

Whether the pre-wedding shoot takes place locally or abroad, a number of things can be inspiring to wedding photographers :
- The destination itself.
- Scenic landscapes.
- Historical buildings or sites of heritage value.
- Architecture.
- The personalities of the couple themselves.

When planning for pre-wedding shoots, be sure to contemplate the following :
- The photographic style of the vendor.
- Do you feel comfortable and do you get along with them?
- Their various packages and inclusions.
- Price points vis-à-vis your planned budget.
- Are they offering any promotions and special deals?
- If you are considering a destination shoot, have they been there? If not, can they do the necessary research on locations?

Some additional suggestions :
- Be open to new locations and destinations, especially those that have not seen a proliferation of pre-wedding photos shot there.
- Constantly keep an eye on air-fares and accommodation deals.
