Cliff of Cliff Choong Photography was moved by this wedding … ‘The couple met me at a wedding I covered last year in Rotterdam. And they booked me as soon as we finished our first conversation on WhatsApp. The wedding theme was classy and elegant with the colours of ivory white, rosy pink and gold, like a romantic royal party. The wedding ceremony was filled with love, laughter and emotional moments. One of the very meaningful and touching moments was when the groom lit candles in remembrance of his lost family members. The groom’s family were actually victims of the MH17 incident, where his parents and grandma were killed when the plane was shot down over eastern Ukraine in July 2014. The couple was actually already married and had signed a marriage certificate 4 years ago, but because of the incident, they did not host any ceremony or celebration until now. Another delightful moment was when their 2-year old son came in as a ring bearer on a remote Benz, and everyone was charmed.’
