The team from LYS Wedding & Event Styling tells us about the unique planning process … ‘As both Huiyi and Ben are working in Singapore and most of their family and relatives are residing in Johor, the couple decided to host their wedding at a secluded golf resort in Johor Bahru where it was conveniently located for their families as well as close friends who travelled all the way from Singapore. When Huiyi approached me for her wedding, we did not get to meet until the day before the wedding. Yes, all the discussions were done digitally via email and WhatsApp, we even got the printed invitation cards directly couriered to Huiyi's parents in Johor. The wedding was an intimate and meaningful one as only close friends and family were invited - sometimes bigger isn't always better. From the wedding ceremony to cocktail session, dinner and lastly the after party, we knew that Huiyi and Ben had themselves surrounded with much love as they happily enjoyed the company, chats, hugs and well wishes from their guests. While a wedding gathers friends and family at one place, I am sure that Huiyi and Ben found much more value than this - that is the memories, love, friendships and happiness that last for a lifetime’.
