Amy of Sugar & Spice Events recounts the wedding planning process … ‘A 3-day celebration! It was our first Indian/Chinese wedding (mixed culture) and we had always wanted to do Indian weddings. They are so very colourful and full of gaiety and the feeling of celebration is thick in the air! Bollywood sure came to town with this one; plus we had a horse! The challenges (couple are super busy people based in London and I once had to have a 4am Skype call with them) and obstacles were truly something we wanted and needed to push us further as planners and we were so very proud to showcase Penang and all its glory to all the guests, many whom were visiting Penang for the first time.’
